El pinar de pino pi\u00f1onero, tambi\u00e9n presente en esta zona, es un HIC (2270- Dunas con pinares de pino pi\u00f1onero o de pino mar\u00edtimo). En estudios recientes, se ha detectado que el pinar litoral de pino pi\u00f1onero coloniza progresivamente los h\u00e1bitats de dunas y esta din\u00e1mica natural va en detrimento del h\u00e1bitat de dunas herb\u00e1ceo (Bou i Vilar, 2022). El proyecto ha consistido en realizar una gesti\u00f3n forestal en aquellas zonas donde el pino pi\u00f1onero ha colonizado el \u00e1mbito de dunas, con medios fundamentalmente manuales, para evitar su expansi\u00f3n, reducir su densidad en el ecotono y mantener un mosaico de h\u00e1bitats de inter\u00e9s favoreciendo el h\u00e1bitat de duna y las especies amenazadas que lo forman, como la lagartija cenicienta (<em>Psamodromus edwarsianus<\/em>) y la especie de flora (<em>Stachys maritima<\/em>).
